Melville Hall Hotel & Utopia Spa has undergone extensive refurbishment to ensure you of a comfortable and relaxing stay, whilst providing you with an unequalled range of leisure facilities.Nestling in a quiet semi-rural setting on the outskirts of Sandown, Melville Hall Hotel & Utopia Spa is only a few minutes stroll from the seafront, cliff walk and shops. The hotel offers high quality accommodation with an emphasis on comfort – for example our bar and quiet lounges feature sofa seating throughout.
All bedrooms at Melville Hall are en-suite and include satellite television, direct dial telephones and tea and coffee making facilities. Several super king size beds and four poster rooms are available, some of which feature jacuzzi baths and views to Brading Downs.
Melville Hall Hotel & Utopia Spa welcomes families with well behaved children.
The Summerhill Restaurant offers a standard of comfort and cuisine unequalled on the Island, along with an extensive wine list to compliment your meal. All our dishes are freshly prepared to order by our head chef, Miss Jackie Claridge. Our table d'hote menu which is varied daily, features a wide selection of dishes which incorporate both seasonal and local produce. We also offer a selection of a la carte style starters and main courses for a small supplement.
The Summerhill Restaurant is open from 6.30pm and last orders are at 8.30pm. Children are welcome to dine with parents in the restaurant and choose from our extensive table d'hote menu. For a small charge both breakfast and dinner can be served in the comfort of your room.
Festival Bar
The newly refurbished Festival Bar features memorabilia from the Great Isle Of Wight Pop Festivals of 1968, 1969 and 1970. It offers a relaxed atmosphere with comfortable sofa seating throughout. The bar serves a selection of liqueurs, beers and spirits as well as a varied cocktail menu for the more adventurous!
Quiet Lounge
Our quiet lounge, with its comfy seating and views to Brading Downs is a great place to relax either during the day with a good book, or to enjoy a speciality liqueur coffee after your dinner.
