Description
The Crab & Lobster Inn is one of the most popular hostelries on the Isle of Wight and is renowned for its superb seafood, which includes, as you would expect, locally caught crab and lobster. The pub boasts a fantastic coastal location overlooking Bembridge Ledge with un-equalled sea views and a traditional beamed interior and open fires which offers a wonderful cosy ambience.
There is plenty of outside seating on the patio to take advantage of the views on the many warm days that the Isle of Wight enjoys. The Crab & Lobster Inn was voted Isle of Wight Dining Pub of The Year in 2006 and has been recommended in many reputable publications including the AA Pick of the Pubs, Good Beer Guide, CAMRA, and Les Routiers.
Children are most welcome in the pub and dogs are permitted in the main area. Food can be warmed for babies and highchairs are available. There is a quiz night on Fridays, with all proceeds going to charity. Real ales, champagnes and an extensive selection of wines complement the fine dining. Quality Isle of Wight bed & breakfast accommodation is also available at the Crab & Lobster Inn, with five rooms which consist of four twin or doubles and a family room. One of the double rooms features a luxurious four-poster bed and the family room has a set of bunks and a double bed, with doors between to create two separate private areas. All rooms are light and airy, with some having stunning sea views. All rooms are en-suite and include a colour TV and tea & coffee making facilities.
