Sailing on the Isle of Wight is a very popular leisure activity and attracts visitors from all over the world, especially during Cowes Week, the most renowned event on the sailing calendar. Out of all the various water sports enjoyed on the Isle of Wight, sailing is the pastime that is most well known and has the highest participation. Due to the outstanding sailing conditions around the Island, there is an abundance of excellent sailing events taking place throughout the year.
