Isle of Wight Bed and Breakfasts

There is a good selection of bed and breakfasts (or B&Bs) on the Isle of Wight to suit all tastes and budgets. Many holidaymakers prefer the more informal and personal touch that a bed and breakfast establishment possesses, rather than the possibly more aloof characteristics a hotel can sometimes display. Isle of Wight bed and breakfast accommodation can be found in various different guises including private homes, pubs & inns and farmhouses. The most popular choice when visiting the Island is a B&B near the coast, preferably in a room with a sea view, however many holidaymakers prefer a more relaxed environment in a countryside location. Whatever you choose, you are sure to have a wonderful holiday on the Isle of Wight.

Isle of Wight Bed and Breakfasts are evaluated in a different way to Isle of Wight hotels, with the quality and care of guests being of more importance than the facilities on offer. Bed and breakfast accommodation that has been assessed by the AA from January 2006 onwards is graded using a star rating, but before that was graded with a diamond rating. B&B establishments are awarded one star at the most basic level up to five stars at the luxury end. The number of stars awarded to any particular B&B is based on an evaluation of the level of cleanliness, service, bedroom comfort, bathroom facilities and standard of food.
