You could try your luck at a bit of ten-pin bowling or ice-skating - you will find both on offer at Ryde, the largest town on the Island. Or maybe you prefer a white knuckle experience such as hang gliding, skydiving, parachuting or microlighting. For the holidaymaker who enjoys a more sedate activity, there is bowls, fishing, swimming or golf - there is a choice of eight golf courses on the Island. So you can see, there really is something for everyone on the Isle of Wight.
