Accommodation on the Isle of Wight
There is a wide range of accommodation on the Isle of Wight, in either one of the lively towns or pretty villages. Whatever your preference, from luxury hotels such as the Lakeside Park Hotel, to basic campsites, there is a wealth of superb accommodation to suit everyone. Hotels on the Island range from cheap and cheerful to luxurious country house hotels, but all will provide a holiday to remember. There are a large amount of superb hotels to choose from that will suit every taste and budget, with many boasting superb countryside or sea views.
Many visitors prefer to stay in the more informal bed and breakfasts or guest houses rather than staying in a hotel. These are often cheaper than hotels but may not offer as many facilities. There is also a huge selection of these on the Isle of Wight, with many offering ferry inclusive deals. A warm and friendly welcome is guaranteed when you reach your chosen destination, where you will arrive as a stranger and leave as a friend. A good example of this type of accommodation is Enchanted Manor at Niton, which was featured on the BBC TV programme, Homes Under The Hammer.
Caravanning and camping is another popular option when deciding which accommodation on the Isle of Wight to choose from. There are many campsites and holiday parks all over the Island in various locations, both coastal and rural, where you can hire a luxury static caravan, bring your own touring caravan, or pitch your tent. On the other hand, maybe you prefer a self catering holiday in a delightful country cottage or apartment with glorious sea views. Westfield Lodges and Apartments offer excellent self catering accommodation in a superb location close to the popular resort of Ventnor. Whatever you decide upon, you will find that the excellent accommodation on the Isle of Wight is hard to beat.
