Sallyann and Peter Young would like to welcome you to the Victoria Lodge Hotel in the popular holiday resort of Shanklin. This warm and friendly Isle of Wight hotel is situated in a peaceful and beautiful area of Shanklin, close to all amenities. Keats Green, the beach, Shanklin Theatre, the town centre and the picturesque Old Village are just a few minutes walk away. At the Victoria Lodge Hotel, we promise you a friendly, comfortable holiday, which offers great value for money.
The hotel is tastefully furnished and decorated and the lounge and dining room boast lovely sea views. The bar offers a good range of wines, beers and spirits. In the dining room, guests are seated at their own tables. There is a wide choice of breakfasts available and a five-course dinner is served every evening with a good selection to suite all tastes. Vegetarians are catered for. Sallyann and Peter are always on hand to offer a warm welcome for new and the many repeat guests to the hotel. For the less agile, a mobility scooter is available for a donation - please check availability when booking. Shanklin is the perfect base for travelling around the Island. Although the Isle of Wight is quite small, there is loads to see and do with plenty of visitor attractions to suit all tastes and ages. Places of interest, historical buildings including Queen Victoria´s holiday home, Osborne House are waiting for you to explore. The Island is also a walkers paradise, with over 300 miles of footpaths and is ideal for cycling.
Accommodation
Victoria Lodge Hotel has 20 comfortable bedrooms including six on the ground floor. All include en-suite facilities, colour television, radio, tea/coffee making facilities and are decorated in an individual style. Several rooms feature delightful sea views at no extra charge!
