Description

The Sands Hotel is a friendly, fully licensed family run hotel opposite Sandown´s long sandy beach. Whatever the time of year, the Sands Hotel has something for everyone. Take a stroll through the town, or explore further afield and discover the true beauty of the Isle of Wight. Laze on the beach or beside our pool and enjoy some of the best sunshine figures in the UK. We have a sloping pathway leading to our entrance, which allows wheelchair access to the swimming pool and terrace. We have double doors opening into the foyer.

Live entertainment is available in our lounge bar most evenings during the main season. Please see our gig guide page on our website for further details of nightly entertainment. Relax in our sauna or pamper yourself in our Beauty Room. Our outdoor heated pool is open from May until September. All of our rooms are en-suite (however, the en-suite cannot be accessed whilst in a wheelchair) and include colour television and tea & coffee making facilities. On the first floor, some rooms have balconies with fantastic sea views overlooking Sandown Bay and Culver Cliffs.

We will be happy to arrange your ferry booking. Email or telephone for availability and tariffs (we offer reductions for children sharing a family room). We all look forward to welcoming you to the Sands Hotel. To our winter visitors, we offer a warm welcome. During November and December come and enjoy our special Turkey and Tinsel breaks. Our Christmas and New Year packages are very popular, book early to avoid disappointment.
