Swiss Cottage is a 4 Star rated Isle of Wight Guest House located in the lovely coastal town of Shanklin. It has been voted as one of the best Top 5 places to stay on the Island. The attractive holiday accommodation was built in 1866 and offers friendly traditional seaside guest accommodation, under the personal supervision of owners Keith & Christine Beckett. Swiss Cottage is a home from home where guests meet as strangers and leave as friends.
You will find Swiss Cottage conveniently situated in the heart of Shanklin, on a quiet road with its own off-street parking. The Guest House is within two minutes easy walk to all the amenities Shanklin and the sandy beach and seafront has to offer and is an ideal base for exploring the whole of the Island.
Our guest accommodation caters for both half board and bed and breakfast, with guests enjoying their meals in our light and airy dining room. Make your selection from the daily menu, which includes traditional home cooked food using fresh local produce (when available) or maybe you would just like to relax and have a drink from our well stocked bar.
There is a range of en-suite rooms at Swiss Cottage, including family, double, twin and single occupancy to take care of everyone’s needs. So whether it’s B&B you want, a hearty evening meal or something special for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries or birthdays, we cater for everyone.
All our unique bedrooms have en-suite facilities, flat screen TV/DVD, hairdryer, trouser press, iron & ironing board, complimentary beverages and mini fridge. The rooms have recently undergone a refurbishment, from decoration to bedding, and externally the guest house has had a bright new facelift. All this just to make your stay a more pleasant experience.
