Description
Seven is a continental-style café bar & restaurant on the Isle of Wight that also offers bed and breakfast holiday accommodation. It is situated in the historic West Wight village of Brighstone, seven miles from Newport, seven miles from Yarmouth and seven miles from Freshwater on the number seven bus route - hence the name. Stunning walks and cycle routes surround the village, offering superb sea and countryside views.
You will find Seven located next to the 11th century church of St Mary, and our summer terrace overlooks the churchyard, which is the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon. Our newly refurbished café bar is a cosy place to relax, and our menu caters for all tastes - from a quiet drink to a three-course meal.
The high quality but reasonably priced restaurant serves breakfasts, lunches and evening meals, with the menus and ambience changing as the day progresses. Our delightful afternoon tea menu features our famous cream and high teas. Sandwiches and panini are always available, as well as a good selection of speciality coffees from the Italian coffee machine. Our evening restaurant menu consists of seven choices of starters and main courses. A specials board features fresh fish and meat as seasonably available. Most of our produce is locally sourced and meat is obtained from a local farm.
Accommodation
We have four en-suite bed and breakfast rooms, which offer the perfect setting for a relaxing break. The rooms were refurbished in 2008 and are comfortably furnished to Visit Britain 4 Star standards, and are regularly inspected to maintain this standard.
Our prices start at £60 per night for a double room, or £45 for single occupancy. This includes a substantial traditional breakfast with several choices available. During the summer months from June to August we have a minimum stay of two nights.
