Welcome to the Priory Bay Hotel - The Country House by The Sea.

The Priory Bay Hotel is situated between the popular Isle of Wight sailing villages of Seaview and Bembridge. This luxury hotel and self catering accommodation offers an elegant country retreat in the perfect location for short breaks, holidays, weddings and corporate events.

A combination of beautifully restored and stylishly decorated buildings and leisure facilities stand within the 70-acre estate. A six-hole golf course, tennis courts, croquet lawn, private beach, outdoor swimming pool, woodlands and landscaped gardens can all be enjoyed by our guests.

Every guest at Priory Bay experiences a warm and friendly atmosphere, leaving them feeling relaxed and refreshed. The Hotel’s inspirational location - nestled at the top of a small valley overlooking the sea with beautiful scenery makes it ideal for weddings, corporate events, film and advertising shoots, product launches and VIP hospitality.

Conferences
The Priory Bay offers a unique venue for corporate events, functions and conferences. The hotel has accommodation for up to 50 guests, plus a range of seminar rooms with different capacities. Please contact us for further details.

Dream Weddings
Just imagine ... a Country House Wedding by the sea. You can relax, assured that this romantic and historic location is the perfect backdrop for your wedding, with a range of reception and dining rooms, which can accommodate 40 to 200 guests. In addition to spectacular views of the bay, beautiful gardens, delightful woodland walks and our own private beach, our staff will do everything to make it a day never to be forgotten, from arrival to departure by car, helicopter, hovercraft or RIB.

Hotel Accommodation:

Principal Rooms are beautifully decorated in unique styles and include Freeview TV and DVD player. All have unique original features, stylish bathrooms and exquisite views over our extensive grounds.

Standard Rooms are individually decorated with king-size beds and comfortable linen and include Freeview TV and DVD player. Extra beds or cots can be put in most rooms.

Family Rooms are in the main building and have double beds and a separate sleeping area or twin bedroom for the children. Included in our family rooms are Freeview TV and DVD player. If both rooms are booked, we can accommodate families in two adjacent rooms in their own private corridor. Families can also use our cottages. (See below).

Self Catering Accommodation:

Cottages
The cottages are suitable for families with children and/or dogs. They are essentially self catering units, but many families prefer to use the facilities of the hotel and enjoy the extra space. Each cottage has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, lounge, bathroom and small kitchen. They have spectacular views over the grounds and golf course to the sea. They are located approximately 100 yards from the hotel across the sunken courtyard.

Self Catering Houses
We have two large self catering houses available within the Priory Estate consisting of :

The Coach House
A 5 Star, five bedroom house with two double rooms, two twin rooms and one attic twin room, two bathrooms and large kitchen/sitting room.

Cluniac Cottage
A 4 Star, four bedroom house with two double rooms, one twin room and one bunk room, two bathrooms, kitchen, sitting room and dining room.

Luxury Accommodation for up to Six People:

The Tithe Barns are designed for larger families and groups who want additional space for their break. Each has a large sitting room with sofas, tables and chairs with floor to ceiling windows looking out over the gardens to the sea. Sleeping accommodation comprises of a double bedroom with en-suite, a smaller double bedroom, a small twin room and an additional bathroom.
