Description

Situated at Sandhills Holiday Park at Whitecliff Bay, near Bembridge, Hilltop Caravan is a fully-equipped 6-berth Isle of Wight holiday caravan and enjoys a hill-top position with views of the sea.

Sheltered by the white chalk cliffs of Culver Down, Whitecliff Bay is an ideal place to bring the family with its beautiful, long, safe, sandy beach. For those who enjoy wildlife and walking, the coastal path runs round the perimeter of the holiday park, climbing up Culver Down with breathtaking views at the top.

The cliffs hide a multitude of fossils and when the tide is out, there is much to be discovered in the rock-pools. Apart from the two beach cafés selling ices, drinks, snacks and beachwear, it is very uncommercialised. Sandhills has its own private access to the beach just a stone’s throw from Hilltop Caravan.

Just a few hundred yards from the holiday park is a family-friendly pub serving tasty meals at reasonable prices. The nearby village of Bembridge also has good facilities including harbour, restaurants, shops, museum and an historic windmill. Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor are also within easy reach.

Accommodation: Double bedroom; twin bedroom; double sofa bed in lounge; lounge/diner, electric fire, TV/DVD, dining table (seating for 6); bathroom with shower, washbasin & toilet; fully equipped kitchen with full-size cooker & grill, fridge (with freezer compartment), microwave, electric kettle and toaster.

Facilities: Facilities on site include a shop, laundry and two children’s play-parks.

Availability: Beginning March - end October. During school holidays and the high season, a full week’s booking only, but short breaks and weekends available at other times.

Please Note: Gas, electricity and water are all included in the price and you can park your vehicle alongside the caravan. A No Smoking policy must be observed inside the caravan and dogs are not allowed on the site.
