Getting to the Isle of Wight Steam Railway is a piece of cake. If you are travelling by car and have a SatNav, simply enter the postcode PO33 4DS. Alternatively, head for the village of Havenstreet, which is three miles from both Newport and Ryde. You will find there is ample free parking for cars and coaches.
The Isle of Wight Steam Railway is open every day from the end of June to the middle of September, and on several days from March to June and from late-September to December.
